Step 2
Select your animal sign and read about your characteristics and trait's!

Number 1 in the Chinese Horoscope Cycle The Rat is a leader, a conqueror and some might say a charmer. With any upside there is a downside and some of The Rats character traits reside as controlling and manipulative and are very forthright with their opinions. However, it would be fair to say that The Rat possesses a practical and dominant mind and a real sense of passion. They are also one of the most organized Chinese Horoscope signs.

The Ox, in at Number 2, is a "cash cow": symbolic of wealth and prosperity. As you would assume from being named The Ox more often than not they are hard workers striving for power, however, this is straddled by hesitation in decision making. Once a decision is made though, no-one can make them change their mind and seldom do they look for help. If you are looking for a friend The Ox is the place to turn; loyalty in abundance, trust and an ear to bend. Honesty is always sincere.

Easy Tiger, you may be attractive and persuasive but steady on. Seriously, it is hard to resist a tiger and Chinese astrologers call The Tiger "The King" (of animals that is). The Tiger is evasive though, and perseverance is a must to get a Tiger to open up. Be prepared The Tiger likes surprises and mystery, seeing themselves as an impassioned beast leading an adventurous life. If you are looking for a friend to share a beer with then it will probably be down to you to arrange a time and place with The Tiger as they aren't generally the most committed to relationships

The Rabbit was destined to sit on the fence. A pacifist and a diplomat; The Rabbit hates fighting, aggression and surprises, which many feel stops The Rabbit from seizing opportunities that come their way. This is a shame as The Rabbit is thought to attract good fortune and be lucky. The Rabbit does have one masterful characteristic. They are likely to attract the attentions of the opposite sex, maybe in part to their artistic flair or their ability to resolve complex issues and problems with apparent ease.

Apparently it isn't hot air! Dragons, worshiped by Chinese culture possess great powers. An intellectual and a socialite, The Dragon displays confidence and approachability. Whilst seemingly debonair they are loyal and trustworthy and their ability to create a sense of harmony and good spirits is something no other Chinese Horoscope sign possesses. Just be careful that people don't take advantage of you!

You don't have to speak "Parselmouth" to understand The Snake as they are communicators and highly revered as conversationalists with many a wise word on offer. They have the ability to captivate an audience eager to learn or indulge a world of magic. The Snake is full of ideas and has a view that life is what you make of it, but they are resolute that they are in control of their own destiny, and will reject people they deem as interfering.

Whoa there! The Horse is certainly a handful as they yearn to be free. Overwhelmed by a sense of honesty they are also likely to put up their defences somewhat irrationally. The Horse strongly believes in its own ability to overcome hurdles, extremely determined and wants to be noticed or appreciated. The Horse wants to be liked and surround themselves with friends. If you want to get close to a Horse don't be shire - sorry shy - and open up, The Horse is a good listener and will reward you with an honest, heartfelt response.

Ewe might miss The Ram as it can be extremely shy, looking to be protected and loved, but The Ram does have a keen eye for fashion and artistic flair. The Ram cares about people and people’s feelings and will do everything possible to avoid hurting anyone through their actions. It is unfortunate however, that sometimes whilst trying to think before they act, they do in fact nervously say something inappropriate. No wonder they have a sheepish expression!

Ooh Ooh Ahh Ahh... make way for The Monkey. The Monkey may have to wait a long time to reach its true potential, but when it does, you'd all better watch out. In many cases The Monkey can achieve Genius status and are probably the most spatially aware of all the horoscope signs. Always aware of what is going on around them and likely to take control they are destined for greatness. You certainly won't want to get The Monkey off your back they are good company, fun and a reliable friend.

Footballers Pele, Maradona and Platini all wore the number 10 shirt. The number 10 is lucky in Chinese culture and The Rooster is the tenth Chinese Horoscope sign so there you go. The Rooster is not only meant to be fortunate but courageous, though they do have a tendency to want to be centre of attention and be self absorbed with those close to themselves. Nobody could fault them on The Roosters determined nature and its appetite to discover new places and meet new people.

Man's Best Friend, The Dog, is synonymous with loyalty. They can be trusted to keep secrets and whilst working alongside their partner can accomplish and overcome all kinds of difficult situations. Carefully groomed The Dog possesses a certain pedigree for fashion and is quite opinionated, however, The Dog waits for others to catch up, and has a patience that no other sign has. With its looks and ability to guide others it is no wonder The Dog attracts friends.

Happiness is the key to The Boar. It is true they like mud, but in the form of the countryside: mountains, lakes, the great outdoors. The Boar is symbolic of fertility and good fortune. Much of The Boars work will not be seen, they don't want a fuss but this can be seen as aloof but once you get to know The Boar you will be embraced by an honest, patient and warm nature. It is worth taking the time as The Boar will bring happiness and a sense of freedom. A breath of fresh air!
